![]() But being honest here, I must say that I was somewhat disappointed by it. ![]() Inspired by American superhero comics, Horikoshi Kouhei's Boku no Hero Academia (or 'My Hero Academia' in English) manga started publishing two years ago, but got gained a lot of popularity only after the release of One Punch Man anime. Note: Tl dr at the end for the lazy ones. With his bizarre but talented classmates and the looming threat of a villainous organization, Izuku will soon learn what it really means to be a hero. All Might's quirk is a unique ability that can be inherited, and he has chosen Izuku to be his successor!Įnduring many months of grueling training, Izuku enrolls in UA High, a prestigious high school famous for its excellent hero training program, and this year's freshmen look especially promising. ![]() But it seems that his persistence has borne some fruit: Izuku meets the number one hero and his personal idol, All Might. Izuku's unfair fate leaves him admiring heroes and taking notes on them whenever he can. Since he was a child, the ambitious middle schooler has wanted nothing more than to be a hero. This leaves the remainder of the world completely powerless, and Izuku Midoriya is one such individual. Overall another fun episode that had a good message too.The appearance of "quirks," newly discovered super powers, has been steadily increasing over the years, with 80 percent of humanity possessing various abilities from manipulation of elements to shapeshifting. It wad funny seeing tough guys like Bakugo and Endeavor cracking up without being able to stop. Deku did s good job making the villain see hoe he could help people and spread his paintings without causing any more of a nuisance. So its easy for Deku to see why someone like him with a useful quirk would turn to crime. The villain wasn't really hurting anyone, not really, just vandalism paintings and making people laugh. Deku got the spotlight appealing to this laughing villains good nature. With a villain that makes people laugh for hours with his quirk its bound to be a fun time too. The second episode a bit more serious but also funnier. Overall the first episode definitely lighter and just for fun with plenty of good baseball moments. different advantages while batting and fielding. But all the students from both classes that we've come to know each using their quirks for Even going back to the game after stopping the villain driving that truck. The heroes definitely went all out especially each team captain really putting the pressure on their team to win. As a huge baseball fan myself it's fun to see it in anime no matter what the occasion is. The baseball episode had a ton of funny moments with players knocking each other out basically every at bat. It is to make anyone who looks into his eyes laugh hysterically!Ĭan the team capture the villain and stop laughing?!īoth some nice just fun episodes to hold us over until the next season in a few months. One day, Smiley draws a doodle on Endeavor's house! Being furious, Endeavor himself and the 1-A trio go out to get the villain' however, Smiley's Quirk turns out to be something ridiculous but powerful. One of their tasks these days is to find a villain ("Smiley") who draws doodles in the city however, since the urgency is so low, they let other pro-heroes solve this case. Who will be the winner of HLB?!ĭeku, Bakugo, and Todoroki participate in an internship under the No.1 hero, Endeavor's agency. In the world of HLB, there is no rule-using their Quirks is of course accepted however, just when the game is about to finish, they are interrupted by a villain. They form a team ("Orcas" and "Lionels") to compete. It's game day! The last game of HLB championship is between Gang Orca and Shishido's two rival agencies. HLB stands for "Hero League of Baseball"-it is a baseball league founded by pro-heroes who love baseball!
